Our pupils benefit from a personalised and exciting curriculum, dedicated staff, and a strongly supportive community. We continually strive to enhance the high standard of provision which our pupils receive with stimulating learning opportunities and resources.
School budgets continue to be placed under considerable strain in the current financial climate. In order for us to provide the very best offer for our pupils, we seek to enhance our budget share with financial support from parents and other supports within the community.
The Forward Fund was established as a registered charity, in 2017 to provide parents and other supporters of the school with a way in which to make voluntary donations. All donations are used to enhance the current teaching and learning provision on offer for the pupils at school.
Since the creation of the Forward Fund, donations have funded:
- an outdoor learning classroom and equipment
- coding workshops
- specialist music teaching
- art therapy
- a sensory room
- resources to support children with special educational needs
- home/school reading books
- a new PSHE scheme
- assessment materials
- curriculum resources for the foundation subjects
Donations from the current academic year are funding our new ‘reading garden’ which will be available for children to access during playtimes.
All of the above resources will enhance the learning experiences of our pupils and provide an immediate and lasting impact on their education. I would like to sincerely thank every family member who has already made either a one off donation or set up a standing order to the Forward Fund.
